Hardship Assistance Grants
The Forster Foundation has established two different funds for the purpose of providing hardship assistance grants to first responders and their families in times of need.

Brad Forster Memorial Fund
The Brad Forster Memorial Fund exists to provide emergency financial assistance to first responder families when facing the death of the first responder or a member of his or her immediate family, debilitating hardships, calamity, serious financial crisis, or other significant need as determined by the Board of Directors.
Operation We Got Your Six Fund
The Operation We Got Your Six Fund – “Op6 Fund” for short – exists to provide emergency financial assistance to first responders in a mental health crisis in order to help remove any roadblocks to receiving care. The fund is also set up for education grants to support mental health and public-safety employee wellness initiatives and training.
